Is there really a God?
Here is the doctrine of the atheist. There is no God. Life is an accident. The universe began with a big bang. No one x Nothing = Everything! That’s his religion, and you better not mess with it!
But no matter how hard I may try to believe his creed, I can’t! I guess I am too rational. I was taught from first grade that zero times any number, no matter how huge, is always zero. I was told this is a universal law of mathematics. How then can I believe that No one x Nothing = Everything? My faith is too small to believe something so logically impossible! God, please help my unbelief!
The universe exists. The universe is complex. The universe is designed. The universe operates with mathematical precision. Why?
The earth is the perfect size and distance from the sun. A little smaller, our atmosphere vanishes. One degree closer, we fry; one degree further, we freeze. Why?
The earth maintains this perfect distance, not by standing still, but while spinning on its axis at 1000 mph and simultaneously revolving around the sun at an incredible speed of 67,000 mph. And no vertigo! Why?
Charles Darwin, one of the most highly regarded prophets of this atheistic religion said, “If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down.” Darwin must not have known how incredibly complex just one single living cell is. Assuming the Big Bang took place just as they say, which is a huge assumption, the probability of just one single living cell being formed by mere chance is 1 to a number with forty-thousand zeroes behind it. It would seem that even one cell is too complex to be formed by chance. Imagine the odds against a human being coming into existence this way!
Each human cell contains exact genetic instructions in its DNA that tell it what to become and everything it is to do, both when and how. If you could extract the information found in just one cell and transfer it to a book, you would end up with an instruction manual 500,000 pages long. And that’s just for one cell! Our bodies have billions of cells–it’s a library of instruction manuals. Who wrote these manuals? The atheist says the books had no author. They accidentally wrote themselves. If only I were capable of such irrational thinking! God, please help my unbelief.
The Bible opens with a profound declaration: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth…and God said, ‘Let there be light!’ and there was light.
The atheist says in the beginning, there was no one; I say in the beginning there was God. He says, there was nothing; I say, there was the Word.
He says, No one x Nothing = Everything. I say, God + the Word = Everything!
And that, my friend, is what I believe. And that, my friend, has brought me peace.

Hi Bishop, thanks for such a word of wisdom for people who find it difficult to believe that there is a God. Its amazing how we on this gone Sunday were led to preach on the theme “Is there a God?” and then to discover that you are dealing with such mindset that people hold. Thanks for the wisdom learned from the way you dealt with it. We shall borrow these truths and try to herald them at this side of the globe.
We do believe that people who hold such concepts are people who try to interact with God
according to their five senses. They do not realize that we need a sixth sense (faith) in order to see God or experience Him in personal ways. Hebrews 11:6 reveals that anyone who comes to God must believe that He exist and that He is the rewarder of them that deligently seek him. It is indeed clear that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Good morning Bishop, like always, this is really great and most powerfully,I love God so much in that people’s perception of Him can never change Him (He cares less about that), hence, He remains God whether or not you beleive Him.

I DON’T KNOW WHY THEY CAN’T LOOK AT THEIR BODY STRUCTURES. EVERYTHING IS IN ITS RIGHTFUL PLACE. IF HUMAN BEINGS CAME TO BE BY ACCIDENT, WHY SOME PEOPLE NOSES ARE NOT ON TOP OF THEIR HEADS, SOME PEOPLE EYES BEHIND THEIR HEADS, SOME PEOPLE FEET IN THE AIR AND THEIR HANDS ON THE GROUND? EVERYTHING IS JUST PERFECT, FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE.
