God Freely Gives To You All Things

051315_God Freely Gives To You All ThingsIt’s unfortunate that so many Christians have not grasped the extent of the Father’s love and how eager He is to meet their needs.  They beg, they cry, they sacrifice, all in an effort to “get” God to hear their prayers.  To persuade Him to meet their needs.  But is any of this necessary?

Consider the following verses:

Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”  (‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬ NKJV)

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭26‬ NKJV)

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31-32‬ NKJV)

God’s love for you is astonishing. And because of His great love for you, He will withhold no good thing from you. Neither do you need to persuade Him with your tears and good works to convince Him to meet your needs.

In fact, if you look closely at Romans 8:31-32, you will discover an amazing truth. God did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for you.  And when did He do this?  When you were an unholy, rebellious sinner!

But look again.  What else does it say?  God freely gives you all things.  All things you need for life and godliness, God freely–with absolutely no cost to you, gives to you!  And when did He do so? “With Jesus,” two-thousand years ago!  God took care of all your needs when He delivered up Jesus for you two-thousand years ago.

Child of God, never doubt your Heavenly Father’s love for you, how eager He is to help you, and His commitment to seeing to it that your needs are met. There is no need to beg for what He already has given you.  Instead of worrying, meditate on His Word,  believe His promises, give thanks, and rest in His love.

  1. God bless you my Presiding Prelate.
We are fed from the fountain of life through Jesus everyday. You are indeed a vessel that Jesus uses to bless us. May the Lord help increase our Faith.

  2. This is the truth Bishop. He also said, He the Lord will bless us according to His riches in glory. He is not a God that lie. All we have to do is to remind him of His promises in asking and thank him for the answers. Amen.

  3. Good morning Bishop and thank God for you always, almost sound like the message sent this morning through mail to the many UN colleagues.
