You Have The Power

“The kingdom of God is within you”. Jesus said so. That means the Spirit of God dwells within you who believe in Him. And all the power you need to live a holy, healthy, and prosperous life resides in your spirit. That is awesome!

So you no longer need to try to

“get God to move” on your behalf because He already has by placing His Spirit in you. He has made mountain-moving, disease-healing, sin-destroying, success-producing power available on the inside of you twenty-four hours of every day, seven days of every week. Hallelujah!

Now, how do you get that power to flow out of your spirit to influence the world you live in? The same way you get water to flow from a reservoir into your sink. You open the valve.

The valve on the faucet regulates the rate and volume of the flow of water entering your house. Close it shut and not a drop of water flows into your sink. Open it wide and water gushes out.

And just like a valve regulates the flow of water, your mind regulates the flow of God’s power in your life. The more you align your thoughts and words with God’s Word, believe His promises and rely on His power, the more His power will impact your life and transform your world for good. But if your words and thoughts contradict God’s, the valve closes and the flow of God’s power out of your spirit shuts off.

God said to Joshua: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night…For then shall you make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

You have the power. Now, keep the valve of your spirit open and let that power flow mightily through you.

Meditate! Meditate! Meditate!

Blessings,
Bishop Johnson
