Why Jesus Gives Thanks For You

Five loaves and two fish. Enough to feed a little boy. That was all Jesus had to work with. But that was all He needed. All He needed to feed more than five thousand men. Amazing!
Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. (John 6:5-10 NKJV)
You can sense frustration in both Philip and Andrew. Philip says, Read More

The grace of God is the supernatural tonic you need to live as an overcomer in this world. Grace will abolish the dominion of sin in your life as you surrender to it. It will empower you to say no to all ungodliness and to walk in spiritual authority and power. How? Read More
How To Be Holy

When some people hear the message of grace preached uncompromisingly, one of the first objections that arises deals with holiness. They wrongly conclude that telling people that Jesus met every requirement of the Law on their behalf and that God has once and for all forgiven them of all their sins, past, present, and future is giving them license to sin. “What about holy living?” they exclaim. “Doesn’t the Bible say that without holiness no one will see the Lord?”
Yes, indeed, holiness is absolute requirement for all saints. Our Father is holy, holy, holy, and He calls us to a life of holiness. And Hebrews 12:14 instructs us to pursue holiness.
But let me pose a question to you. Can you or any human being make anything holy? If according to Jesus, we are not able to make even one strand of hair on our heads white or black, then how much less are we able to produce holiness, no matter how hard we try. Isn’t God the only One capable of producing holiness in any shape or form? Now, if this is the case, and indeed it is, then unless God makes us holy, we can never be. Read More
Only God Could Do This for You

If you offend a king by something you say or do against him, and as a result the king banishes you from his presence, the only person who has the power to bring you back into favor with the king is the king. As the offender and the lesser person in a relationship with a king, you do not have the power to put yourself back into his presence, to be numbered ever again among his circle of friends. No matter how much you may want to be invited back into his presence, no matter what you say or do, unless the king Read More

“There are those who plotted against you and don’t know how you survived. And those who tried to bury you who did not know you were a seed. You popped up and started growing.” I saw this statement on the internet recently and wanted to share it with you because it is such a powerful way to convey the truth about Jesus’ life in you. It makes you indestructible, victorious, and more than a conqueror.
In this world you will experience troubles–all types. That is no secret. Jesus warned us to anticipate them. He also assured us of victory. But we need to Read More
You Are Not Still In Your Sins

Guilty or not guilty? Detectives look for clues. Lawyers seek to convince. Juries ask for proof. The stronger the evidence, the more reliable the facts, the more certain the verdict. We make bold claims concerning the sacrifice of Jesus. Do we have solid Biblical evidence to support our claim that because we believe in the the blood of Jesus we are totally and absolutely not guilty before God of sin? Yes!
And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! (I Corinthians 15:17 NKJV)
Let’s look at this verse. Let’s analyze it. Then, make some logical deductions. Read More
What’s Before You, Blessings or Curses?

When you look into your future, what do you see? Blessings or curses? I remember a song we sang decades ago, “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.” The lyrics of one of its verses were, “The Cross before me, the world behind me…no turning back.” It is a powerful song of consecration. It reminds us of our Read More

Here is one thing I can tell you without ever having met you. No matter who you are, or where you live, at this point in your life, you are either in trouble, just coming out of trouble, or on your way into trouble. I’m sure I am right. And I am not even a prophet! I know so because earth is fallen and the devil is real.
But do not despair. Do not be afraid either. Divine help is available. Listen to these encouraging words from 1 Peter 5:6-7….

Does Grace Encourage Sin?

If a king were to issue a decree decriminalizing prostitution and pardoning all prostitutes in his kingdom, protecting them forever from being prosecuted for prostitution, what do you think would be the effect of his actions? A lot of joy among prostitutes and a lot more prostitution taking place! And that’s why many are scared to proclaim the radical grace of God that offers total pardon for all sins, past, present and future, once for all, to every born-again child of God. They fear such total forgiveness of all sins and the removal of the threat of hell will only serve to embolden people to sin.
Stop Calling Yourself a Sinner

Do you refer to yourself as just “an old sinner saved by grace?” If so, you should stop it. Why? Because it is not the truth! And you are contradicting Scripture and weakening yourself spiritually by doing so. You see, you can be “an old sinner,” or you can be “saved by grace,” but It is not possible for you to be both at the same time.
